Shirley Beglinger started her career at Credit Suisse in Zurich as a fixed income trader before moving into private banking. In 1984 she joined GAM Global Asset Management – subsequently taken over by UBS – in fund management. She joined Swiss Re in 1988 and gathered ample experience in both insurance and reinsurance practice. From 1995 she specialised in all types of Financial Institutions underwriting.
