FinTech for Breakfast (31)
Held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018
With support from Dentons
Caroline Hyde (Bloomberg)
Chantal Constable (CGI)
Liliana Reasor (SupraFin)
This month, we are pleased to welcome Caroline Hyde, co-host of Bloomberg Markets and European technology and media correspondent for Bloomberg Technology as our Sherpa through FinTech’s peaks and valleys.
Joining Caroline will be Liliana Reasor, the founder and CEO of Suprafin. Liliana is a former investment banker and trader who has worked at Moody's, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, BAML and Deutsche Bank, and now specialises in all things blockchain and ICO-related. Alongside them will be Chantal Constable, UK VP for retail banking and payments at CGI.
As always, our panel will be covering the very latest in FinTech developments. For now, my colleague Angus Young is highlighting:
- Twitter and Square CEO Jack Dorsey’s belief that Bitcoin will become the internet’s “native currency”;
- The SEC’s fake ICO honeypot for consumer education;
- The launch of GDPR and Zuckerberg’s summons to the European Parliament; and
- Goldman Sachs-backed Circle’s decision to launch a crypto-coin pegged to the dollar.
If you (or a friend/colleague) would like to join us, please let us know by calling 0207 621 1056 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks to Dentons’s hospitality, there will be lots of tea, coffee and buns.
